Protect your investment with our fast and easy to install BoatVent 3. The BoatVent 3 can be added to any custom or semi custom marine cover. Molded from the highest UV inhibited plastic on the planet, this remarkable device prolongs the life of your boat's upholstery by venting the enclosed space of the warm, moist air. BoatVent 3 helps prevents mold, mildew, and bacteria from growing under your cover, and causing irreversible damage to your boat's interior. When combined with our cam-lock support pole the added support of proper tenting will shed rain or snow, prohibiting pools and stagnant water from destroying your boat cover.
With millions sold this combination has become the standard for preventive care in the industry, and is a must for all boat owners.
When you cover your boat, moisture gets trapped between the boat cover and the boat. This moisture leads to bacteria, mold, and mildew growth, which can ruin the upholstery on your boat or at the very least cause for extensive amounts of cleaning. The BoatVent allows for this moisture to escape without allowing any additional moisture in, thus preventing mold and mildew from growing. Reducing heat and removing the moist air will also help prevent discoloration of upholstery and carpet, helping to keep the interior looking and smelling new for years to come. Venting also increases the life of the cover. The underside of the boat cover has been treated to help with the waterproofing, and removing the heat and moisture from the interior of the boat helps keep that treatment in its original condition, which helps maintain the cover’s ability to remain waterproof. Lastly, using the BoatVent on top of our mooring pole is superior to other venting systems because it supports your boat cover and allows for moisture to be released at the highest point possible.
Even though any good boat cover is breathable the truth is that not enough moisture is able to escape through fabric. Fabrics that do breathe only allow moisture out at certain temperatures. Fabric breathing generally only occurs when it is hot, and it isn’t a one-way process. The only proper way to protect the interior of your boat against mold, mildew, and bacteria is through proper venting.
The new swivel pole base makes installing your boat cover quick and easy. With the ability to swivel and hold the pole in place, you no longer have to climb in and out of your boat as you install your cover. The thermoplastic rubber gives the pad a firm grip, it's large base protects your flooring from damage caused by standard crutch tips and helps disperse the poles weight. Not suitably for trailering.
